Tornado Outbreak is much like the Katamari Damacy series, except that instead of rolling up countless objects on Earth, you’re driven to one singular purpose: DESTRUCTION. You start every level as a minor dust devil and must work your way up into a full blown twister by destroying everything and everyone in your path. As you wreak havoc, you’ll also need to collect your enemies, which is by far the worst part of the game. If you don’t collect enough of them within the (very, very short) time limits, then you’ll find yourself retrying the levels. This isn’t a major issue, though, as most of the levels are pretty spacious, and retrying them often gives you a second (or third) chance to further explore areas and see cool things you may have missed. Another fantastic part of the game is the completely ludicrous story which involves tornadoes actually being crazy aliens. Aside from the way too serious voice acting and the poorly animated cutscenes, the game is a complete winner, and I can’t recommend it enough. A must buy!

Katamari with better controls...I hope. Uggh, I hate time limits. I hate them.

The controls are definitely better, but the time limits do suck. The problem I had with this game is that the destruction moments only make up 1/3 of the game. The rest of it is filled with stupid race and boss battle sequences. My review from two years ago: http://www.1uporpoison.com/360/tornado-outbreak/

I actually liked the race sequences and the end boss battle was pretty fun to me. The time limit was really my only real problem with this and if it wasn't for the sometimes too tight time limit I would definitely be playing this more.

Time limits ruin games. Not all games, but I like it when the "get it done in a certain amount of time" is just an option, not a requirement. De Blob...

The time limit is so restrictive in this game that it's kind of ridiculous. The UK levels feel so tight that I almost didn't want to finish the game.
