Crimson Harvest

When I was googling images for Crimson Harvest, I found that some people use that phrase as a way to describe cranberry harvests. I think that would probably have been a better direction for them to take this game, as third-person shooters are definitely not their strong suit. The purpose of the game is to get to the checkpoint while scoring high by killing enemies along the way. The level designs are pretty bad. Quite empty and desolate, really. The few things in the level you can actually shoot aren’t exciting, and the AI is terrible. It just stands there until you either shoot at it or walk in front of it. Thing is, for the most part, you can just run to the checkpoint and end the level, avoiding everything. None of that matters, because the faux joystick is terrible, and the aiming is almost impossible to be specific. When you zoom in and aim, the target will always jump when you try to shoot. Not all games are trying to be the best, but this feels more like someone’s pet project they were using to practice game development. It needs a lot of work before it would be fun.

Any game with “harvest” in its name should be about farming. The only exception to this is Body Harvest.

Was Body Harvest on the N64 where you fight giant insects? My friend showed off his N64 collection to me, and I’m pretty sure that was one of the games.
