The graphics of Lair have held through the test of time since its overly gimmick-based release in  2007. Shortly after the poor reviews came in, free DLC arrived, leaving only a comparably small amount of shaking and jerking your controller around. You play as a dragon rider, so the air and ground combat are unique to this game alone. This is a bad thing. You have nowhere to draw experience from but to replay each frustrating mission several times over. The biggest problem with Lair isn’t even the motion gimmicks or the overly ambitious attempt at innovation but can be stated in two simple words: level ten. If you made it this far, congratulations on being strong-willed and patient. Just know that you are not going to get any farther. I spent my entire time with this game in frustration and confusion, and I’m not about to dedicate another week to fighting off an entire nation’s navy, military, and air force just to save a few hundred civilians and reach another poorly designed level. No thanks, Sony.

    Hahaha, I’ve seen this one shelves for a long time now. Glad I never picked it up. Thanks for the warning.

    It’s sad when so much beauty is put into a game that isn’t fun. The graphics in many of the PS3′s early line up still look amazing. The cutscenes in Lair have more realistic body motions and facial expressions than in even the newest games today.
