Street Fighter X Tekken

Street Fighter X Tekken serves as the first in the two-part fighter collaboration between Capcom and Namco, which brings together their flagship fighters and forces them into each others’ play styles. It may seem weird to think of Tekken characters playing like they’re from Street Fighter, but Capcom has done a fantastic job making them function perfectly in another world. Not only do the Tekken characters work great, the whole tag-team mechanic breathes new life into the fighting game, especially since tagging in works so fluidly. Sadly, there is a slight learning curve in the game with the inclusion of gems (items that carry various effects, like boosting defense for a period of time), but thanks to the extremely informative tutorial mode, it does not take much time at all to learn the ins and outs of the gem system. The biggest surprise is the online play, which actually makes for a relatively lag-free fight even on the crappiest of connections. All things considered, this is a must-buy for fighting game fans!

Tekken X Street Fighter! A game where Street Fighter characters will play like they're in Tekken! It'll be interesting to see how they handle Hadoukens for that.

Now that you say that, I might skip this one completely.

If you're not a Street Fighter fan then it's probably best you skip this, it is a lot of fun, though.
